“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” (Mark 10:14)
Jesus made it clear that the gospel is not only an “adult thing.” Every man, woman—yes, and even child—is welcomed by Jesus.
Our children are precious. Like us adults, they too are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26). They too inherit Adam’s fallen, sinful nature (Psalm 51:5; 1 Corinthians 15:22). And so Jesus offers them, also, forgiveness and new life through faith in what He did on the cross.
As a church community, we want to disciple the children among us. We want them to know who God is, who they are, and what God has done through Jesus to offer them redemption. This is the goal of our Children’s Ministry.
What to Expect
When you arrive at a Sunday morning gathering, see the Children’s Ministry table where you can register your child for the appropriate class. If no one is at the table, simply ask one of our members. We’d be happy to help!
We offer a nursery (ages 0–4) and a class (grades K-5) during the first portion of our service. So that our children can join us for singing, their teachers will bring them back into the sanctuary at the conclusion of the sermon.
If you have any questions about our Children’s Ministry, please email the church office or check-in at the Children’s Ministry table on Sunday morning.
