The arrival of Jesus Christ is worth celebrating—and you are invited to the celebration. Come join us!
The world is a crazy place…
We see it in the headlines. We know it as we rush from thing to thing. Every day we face pressures, anxiety, fear, and opposition. This is not the way God intended us to live, and that’s why God sent Jesus.
God knows that our greatest problem (and the source of everything that is not good) is that we have sinned against God. Jesus was born in Bethlehem to deliver us from our sin and bring us back to God (1 Peter 3:8). Because of Jesus, we can be reunited to the God who made us and have true hope and joy in the midst of life’s chaos.
That means it’s time to celebrate!
Providence Church is hosting our Community Christmas Service on Sunday, December 22 from 9:30–10:30 AM. Our gathering will include:
- Worshipping Jesus through song, prayer, and teaching from the Bible.
- A short children’s program highlighting the meaning of Christmas.
- A coffee & cookie reception after our gathering.
- A baking item drive to support those in need through the Dormont Free Pantry. (Bring baking items like flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, mixes, oils, and spices to help stock their shelves and support our neighbors who need food.)
If you need directions to our location, you can find them on our Contact page. We hope you will join us!
More Than Christmas Sunday
Jesus is worth celebrating with our whole lives—not just one Sunday. The last three weeks in December, we will be focusing on “The Joy of Christmas”…
- December 15: “Jesus Has Come!”
- December 22: “Sins Are Forgiven!”
- December 29: “God with Man—Forever!”
If you are gathering with us for the first time, you might be wondering what you can expect in our gatherings? That’s a great question!
