What can you expect when you visit Providence Church for the first time? We are so glad you asked!
While no week is exactly the same, there are a few things we try to do every time we gather. Our time together is focused on the unbelievable truth that God—in His mercy—saves broken people who have gone their own way. We are those people, and through Christ we have been reunited to our loving, all-powerful, sovereign God. This is the most amazing news we have ever heard!
In response to this truth, our gatherings consist primarily of singing to God and also sitting under His Word (the Bible) to hear who God is and what He would say to us.
Below you will find more information about what to expect. We look forward to meeting you!
Warm, Welcoming People
Visiting a new church isn’t easy. We look forward to welcoming our guests. If you need anything, just ask!
A Focus on the Bible
We strive for everything we do to be informed by God’s inspired Word—the Bible. If you have one, bring it along.
We love praising God for what He has done through songs that proclaim the truth of the Gospel.
Nursery and children’s ministry classes are available during the sermon for infants through 6th grade.
Feel free to be casual. On any Sunday you’ll see dress shirts to Steelers jerseys. On special occasions, you might spot a tie.
Our Sunday meetings begin at 10:00am. We start with singing and then listen to God’s Word preached.
We meet at Boyce Middle School in Upper St. Clair. Maps & directions are available if you need help finding the building.
