FUSE Youth Ministry

Youth & Parents Treasuring Christ

So many things clamor for our attention. One thing is of greatest value. FUSE seeks to help teens and parents see and respond to the surpassing worth of Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:7–8) together during the teenage years. Nothing is more exciting—nothing compares.

fuse_logoYouth and parents have an irreplaceable opportunity to treasure Christ together during the teenage years. Our FUSE youth & parent ministry seeks to help youth and parents fulfill that calling.

FUSE is open to all 7th–12th graders and their parents. We meet twice monthly on Saturdays from 7–9pm. Check the church calendar for specific times and dates.

Helping Youth and Parents Together

Until a child leaves home as an adult, there are few things more significant than the parent/youth relationship. From the earliest days of the Old Testament, God charges parents to be the primary witness to God’s greatness and glory for their children (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).

FUSE exists to come alongside youth and parents, ultimately pointing both parents and teens to Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world who is of far greater value than anything (or anyone) else. We do that through regular Bible study, open and honest discussion, and fun activities to enjoy God’s creation together.

What If Mom or Dad Can’t Come?

While holding unswervingly to this conviction, we do understand that there are youth whose parents are unable or unwilling to participate in this ministry. When that is the case, we want these youth to know they are wholeheartedly welcomed and accepted as a vital part of FUSE.
